Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in U.S. mortgage processing, underwriting support, or loan closing functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. mortgage loan documentation, loan lifecycle, and compliance requirements. This role involves working closely with loan officers, underwriters, and closing agents to ensure accurate and timely processing of mortgage loan files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify borrower information, income documents, credit reports, and asset documentation
  • Ensure loan files meet regulatory and investor guidelines (e.g., FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA)
  • Collect, organize, and submit required documents to underwriters for loan decisioning
  • Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to resolve missing or incorrect information
  • Maintain pipeline tracking and update loan status in LOS (Loan Origination Systems) such as Encompass, Calyx, or Blend
  • Prepare initial disclosures and ensure compliance with TRID, RESPA, and other federal regulations
  • Perform quality checks on closed files and ensure post-closing documentation is accurate
  • Collaborate with team members to meet processing timelines and customer service standards
