We are seeking a detail-oriented Print Quality Control Specialist to ensure that all printed materials meet the highest standards of quality. This role involves reviewing content accuracy, verifying layout and design alignment, and ensuring compliance with brand and technical specifications. You will be responsible for validating print-ready artwork, identifying recurring errors, and maintaining comprehensive QC documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and visual placement.
  • Validate print materials against brand guidelines and technical specs (e.g., CMYK, DPI, bleed).
  • Conduct prepress checks and collaborate with design teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  • Document errors and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain quality control checklists and error logs for continuous process improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of print production (CMYK, DPI, bleed, etc.).
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for proofing and annotating files.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify layout, colour, and typographic issues.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in managing QC within production timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in design QA or visual proofreading (preferably in print advertising or magazine production).
  • Graduate degree (design, publishing, or media production preferred).
