Role Expectations & Nature

  • Title: Network Support Specialist (Grade 3/4)
  • The role sits in the Change Management team, not traditional L2/L3 support.

  • It is project-oriented, focusing on:

  • Network changes

  • Migrations

  • Customer implementations

  • It involves customer-facing communication, especially during migrations.

Technical Skill Requirements

  • Core Areas: Routing, switching,and firewall security

  • Must-have hands-on experience with:

  • Palo Alto firewalls

  • Cisco ASA

  • Deep understanding of:

  • Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP

  • Switching protocols: STP, VTP, HSRP, VRRP

  • Certifications:

  • CCNA mandatory

  • CCNP beneficial

  • SD-WAN exposure is a plus

  • EFM technology knowledge is critical for ongoing projects
