Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Development Representative located in Mumbai. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, communication, sales, and business development activities on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
- Research and identify potential leads using various channels.
- Qualify inbound leads and ensure they meet specific criteria for potential sales opportunities.
Outreach and Prospecting:
- Initiate outbound prospecting efforts through cold calls, emails, social media, and other methods.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their needs and pain points.
Sales Qualification:
- Qualify leads based on company size, industry, decision-maker roles, and needs for the product or service.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and manage lead data in CRM software.
Lead Nurturing:
- Follow up with prospects to maintain engagement and build strong relationships.
- Nurture long-term relationships with prospects who are not yet ready to purchase.
Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed lead generation and qualification quotas, contributing to the overall sales targets.
- Provide regular updates on progress, pipeline activity, and outcomes to the sales leadership team.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Analyze prospect responses and feedback to continuously improve sales outreach efforts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:
1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role is preferred (entry-level candidates are welcome to apply). - Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage prospects effectively and professionally. - Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle a high volume of outreach. - Resilience and Persistence:
Ability to handle rejection, stay motivated, and keep a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
