Role & responsibilities

  • Design review of civil / structural drawings, geotechnical reports, concrete design, foundations & structural calculations.
  • Planning and supervision of site civil works such as earthwork, excavation, backfilling, grading, road works & drainage.
  • Construction of foundations for equipment, vessels, tanks, pipe racks, substations, control rooms, buildings etc.
  • Coordination with mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation teams for alignment of civil works with plant layout.
  • Monitoring concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, curing and ensuring compliance to quality & safety standards.
  • Ensuring compliance to international standards (ACI / BS / IS codes) and project specifications.
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring work is completed as per approved drawings and method statements.
  • Conducting inspections, raising and clearing NCRs, punch points & site quality documentation.
  • Supporting pre-commissioning readiness related to civil & structural works.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience as a civil engineer with oil & gas/EPC/petrochemical/refinery projects.
