JD for Civil Structural Design Engineer Location will be Powai based Should be first class from renowned university with B E M E Civil qualification Candidate must have Civil Structural design engineering experience of at least 6 to 8 complete multi-discipline Project Life Cycles as EPC EPCM in brown field and Revamp type of Projects and overall experience of 6-8 years The Candidate must have experience in basic detailed Civil Structural Engineering aspects of Revamp Brown field Projects in Refinery Fertilizers Chemicals Petrochemicals Specialty Chemicals Oil Gas Projects Off-Sites and Utility facilities Coordinating will be front facing with client and client engineering consultants to ensure seamless design engineering Civil Structural Fabrication drawing work delivery having quality aspects on project schedule with functional and Value engineering Responsibilities meeting fully Project Specifications Capable to undertake detail design engineering of Civil Structural discipline which caters to Civil Structural Equipment foundation Reinforcement by Piling hard stands Piping Rack Laying Supports foundations engineering for Revamp type of Projects Closely work with multi-discipline Engg team Project team Detail engineering partners contractors Client Engineering Consultants Statutory agencies to deliver all Project deliverables in timely manner Knowledge of all aspects of complex Refinery Fertilizers Chemicals Petrochemicals Specialty Chemicals Oil Gas Projects Off-Sites and Utility facilities Candidate shall have very strong understanding of all project specifications data sheets documents and drawings to be generated and reviewed for typical refinery Fertilizer Chemical Petrochemical Oil Gas projects Candidate should be competent enough to provide cost effective value addition suggestion adding value to EPC EPCM project Exposure to FEED Pre-bid Engineering activities Detail Engineering activities of projects Strong technical skills Knowledge of good engineering global practices followed in Civil Structural Engineering Lead the Civil Structural Engineering activities and deliverables for the project and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards Execute technical work for FEED DD within designated Cost Time Resource CTR scopes Develop concept and feasibility studies for new modification Revamp Upgrade of existing facilities Extensive Civil Structural related Refinery Fertilizer Petrochemical and Oil Gas Industry experience preferred Liaising with International client Knowledge of STAAD Pro design software Knowledge of soil strength calculations civil Structural design analysis Exposure to international Wind Seismic and design codes API AISC ACI UBC etc Lead the team of C S Engineers and Designers to undertake detailed Structural design analysis of pipe rack equipment shelter buildings EOT Cranes supporting structure process technological structure etc Design Analysis of static and dynamic equipment foundations Extensive Civil Structural related Refinery Fertilizer Petrochemical and Oil Gas Industry experience preferred Liaising with International client Knowledge of STAAD Pro design software Knowledge of soil strength calculations civil Structural design analysis Exposure to international Wind Seismic and design codes API AISC ACI UBC etc Lead the team of C S Engineers and Designers to undertake detailed Structural design analysis of pipe rack equipment shelter buildings EOT Cranes supporting structure process technological structure etc Design Analysis of static and dynamic equipment foundations Design of isolated combined and mat foundations Design of lifting handling arrangement and performing lifting calculations using muilto modal cranes forlifts etc Review of input from other disciplines and incorporation in civil structural calculation Providing input for preparation of structural detailed drawings Providing input for preparation of civil foundation drawings Calculation reports and client comment response sheets Knowledge of Local Statutory compliance related to process plants Strong understanding of plant safety and able to implement safety in plant design Good knowledge of industry codes and standards Shall be able to guide the C S Team to Prepare Requisition data base handing projects Shall be able to guide the C S team to prepare Technical queries on vendor offers and TBT Shall be able to do vendor drawing review for Civil Structural Provide Optimal Cost effective Solution by co-ordinating with all other disciplines and obtaining design Engineering approval from Client Consultants TPIA EPC PMC and Statutory bodies for all Project Deliverables Strong Understanding of Inputs and interface with various disciplines Project management Planning Civil Process Instrumentation Electrical Mechanical - Static Mechanical-Rotary and Piping Etc Shall have experience in independently designing of Industrial Buildings RCC Steel Structures and infrastructure facilities by using STAADPRO Software and shall be conversant with IS UBC ASCE codes Familiarity with following will be considered as additional advantage International codes such as ACI Euro Russian British French etc Design software such as Foundation 3D Mat3D RCDC 3D environment working with software such as Cadworks PDMS UG-NX SP3D TEKLA Continuous learning capture for ongoing enquiries ongoing projects and build knowledge bank in the KM Portal Conduct Knowledge Sharing sessions to impart learning and share the lessons learned
