Profile: Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales / Customer Success Engineer)
Location: MG Road, Bangalore (On-Site, 5 Days WFO)
Function: GTM – Customer Success | Sub-Function: Pre-Sales / Solution Consulting
CTC: ₹28–30 LPA + 10–15% Variable
Reporting To: Regional GTM Lead / Head of APAC Expansion
Work Time Zone: APAC / IST–JST Overlap
Role Overview
We're looking for a Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales / Customer Success Engineer) to lead product demos, technical discovery, onboarding, and enterprise adoption for a global SaaS platform focused on engineering intelligence and developer productivity.
You will bridge Sales, Product, and Engineering teams — ensuring smooth pre-sales engagements, successful proof-of-concepts (POCs), and onboarding experiences for enterprise clients across APAC.
Ideal for professionals with a DevOps or software engineering background who enjoy client-facing, problem-solving roles in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
What You'll Do
In the First 90 Days
- Lead 3–5 technical demos and POCs with enterprise engineering teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, aligning client pain points to product solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product to improve onboarding frameworks.
- Prepare demo environments, documentation, and best-practice templates.
Within 180 Days
- Own onboarding success for at least two enterprise clients.
- Drive 100% POC-to-closure and contribute to renewal discussions.
- Publish customer success stories highlighting developer productivity results.
- Share implementation insights to enhance the product roadmap.
Success Metrics
- POC-to-Closure Ratio ≥ 80%
- 100% Onboarding Completion Rate
- Improved CSAT / NPS scores
- Enhanced client adoption and retention metrics
- Strong collaboration across Sales and Product teams
Who You Are
Experience:
5–8 years in SaaS Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Technical Customer Success — ideally with DevOps, productivity, or engineering tools.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong understanding of developer workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Jira, CI/CD, Confluence).
- Proven experience leading demos, technical evaluations, and POCs.
- Excellent communication and consultative problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have
- Exposure to developer productivity analytics (DORA / SPACE metrics).
- Familiarity with Japanese or APAC enterprise collaboration.
- Certifications in Solution Consulting or Technical Sales.
Education: B.Tech / B.E. (Computer Science or related). MBA preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Comfortable working cross-functionally across APAC.
- Fluent in English; Japanese language skills are a plus.
- Must have India work authorization.
