Role and Responsibilities:
The Training Head plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the staff possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive soft skills and process training programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the hospitality/aviation or similar industry, possess outstanding communication skills, and be adept at designing training modules that enhance the guest experience and employee satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Develop comprehensive soft skills training programs for various departments within the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff, and managerial positions.
- Customize training modules to address specific needs and challenges faced by hotel staff in their day-to-day interactions with guests.
- Training Delivery:
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance employees' soft skills.
- Utilize various training methods, such as role-playing, simulations, and group activities, to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate training sessions to gather feedback and continuously improve the training programs.
- Employee Development:
- Identify training needs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees struggling with specific soft skills areas.
- Work closely with department heads to address skill gaps and implement targeted training interventions.
- Content Creation:
- Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia resources.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate relevant content into training programs.
- Evaluation and Assessment:
- Develop evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Monitor employees' progress and track improvements in their soft skills.
- Provide regular reports to management on the impact of soft skills training on guest satisfaction and employee performance.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HR, department heads, and senior management to align soft skills training with overall organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the hotel.
Candidate
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of proven experience in designing and delivering soft skills training programs in the hospitality/aviation or similar industry.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the hotel industry, its operations, and customer service standards.
- Ability to assess training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using training software and multimedia tools.
- Certification in training and development is advantageous.
