Opportunity – Principal Associate (Banking & Finance) | Tier 1 Law Firm

Role Highlights:

  • Structured & Project Finance: Lead and advise on infrastructure lending, project finance, structured and acquisition finance, and renewable energy financing.
  • Insolvency & Restructuring: Support or lead insolvency-related advisory for resolution professionals, committees of creditors, and resolution applicants under the IBC framework.
  • Cross-Sectoral Engagement: Advise private equity players, international banks, and strategic investors across sectors like renewable energy, real estate, transport, and infrastructure.
  • Deal Execution & Documentation: Handle financial documentation, regulatory filings, and negotiations, ensuring seamless deal progression and compliance.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders—including financial institutions, funds, and corporates—to deliver commercially sound and sophisticated financing solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Principal Associate level with significant experience (typically 7–9 years) in banking, project, or structured finance.
  • Proven track record advising on infrastructure, project, or acquisition finance deals and insolvency-related mandates.
  • Exceptional drafting, analytical, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong judgment and the ability to operate independently under tight deadlines.
