Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Google Cloud Senior Infrastructure Engineer
to manage and optimize client cloud environments, primarily on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. The ideal candidate should have a strong infrastructure foundation, hands-on GCP expertise, and leadership skills to guide teams through
Cloud & DevOps transformations
. Professionals with traditional infrastructure backgrounds who have transitioned into Cloud and DevOps are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure on
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    .
  • Lead infrastructure projects and support clients in their
    Cloud & DevOps transformation journey
    .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient cloud operations.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and management using
    Terraform
    .
  • Implement
    DevSecOps practices
    within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure
    compliance, monitoring, and governance
    across environments.

Requirements

Experience & Background

  • Strong hands-on expertise in
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    .
  • Candidates with traditional infrastructure experience who moved into
    Cloud & DevOps
    are encouraged.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding Infrastructure Engineers.

Technical Expertise

  • Compute:
    Google Compute Engine, App Engine (GAE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions.
  • Networking:
    VPC, Cloud CDN, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, VPN, Private Service Connect.
  • Storage & Databases:
    Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage.
  • Monitoring & Management:
    Cloud Operations Suite, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, OS Patch Management, IAM, Deployment Manager, Billing, Google Cloud Marketplace, Google Cloud Directory Sync, Instance Groups, Templates, Snapshots, Health Checks.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    Terraform (hands-on), GitOps (advantage).
  • Scripting:
    Shell scripting, Python (automation/orchestration).
  • Containers & Orchestration:
    Kubernetes (GKE preferred), Helm, Autoscaling, Cluster Management, Container Security (kube-bench, kube-hunter, Falco).
  • DevSecOps & CI/CD:
    Snyk, Trivy, Aqua Security, Checkov, CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Collaboration & Tools:
    GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
