Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Experience in reliability, capacity management, incident management.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience horizontally scaling large systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the other engineers on the team.
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the two products to identify and develop solutions to both external and internal customer pain points.
  • Drive design and implementation of solutions, tools, infrastructure.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide among available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
