Job Title: Business Development Manager (Projects)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Managing Partner / Director
Purpose of the RoleTo drive sales revenue and business growth in the Projects Division by acquiring, developing, and managing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, waterproofing consultants, and project procurement heads.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual project sales targets.
- Identify and close large-scale waterproofing and construction chemical supply projects.
- Develop strategic business opportunities through project leads, government tenders, and private infrastructure work.
2. Market Development
- Map the territory to identify high-potential infrastructure and real estate projects.
- Build strong relationships with key project decision-makers (builders, PMC, consultants).
- Develop partnerships with applicators and contractors to push product sales in projects.
3. Pipeline Management
- Maintain a structured project pipeline with defined stages — lead, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Update CRM/ERP regularly with accurate project status and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and execution support.
4. Business Strategy
- Conduct market analysis to identify competitor activity, price trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Work with management to create region-specific growth plans.
- Recommend pricing, schemes, and credit strategies based on project segment behavior.
5. Client Relations & Branding
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry expos, and technical seminars.
- Promote RWS products and services through effective presentations and technical demos.
- Ensure post-sale satisfaction and generate repeat business.

- Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Business Administration.
- 3–7 years of B2B project sales experience (construction chemicals, waterproofing, or building materials preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving project sales targets.
- Strong network with builders, contractors, and consultants.
- Skills Required Strong negotiation and closing ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Market intelligence and project tracking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and ethical.
