About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic
Head of Operations
who can drive flawless execution, efficiency, and alignment across our business verticals —
Events, Branded Content, and Services
.

This person ensures that all moving parts — from creative teams to logistics and client servicing — run in sync, deadlines are met, budgets are optimized, and every project reflects the brand's excellence and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Planning & Process Excellence

• Translate business goals into detailed operational plans, timelines, and team deliverables.
• Create and implement SOPs, checklists, and workflows to streamline execution across departments.
• Oversee the coordination between internal teams — content, curation, marketing, production, and sales — ensuring accountability and clarity at every stage.
• Build reporting systems to track progress, flag bottlenecks, and ensure proactive problem-solving.

2. Event Operations & Execution

• Lead the end-to-end operations of large-format IPs such as Vegan India Conference and Ekatva Festival.
• Manage planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-ground execution for all events.
• Ensure interdepartmental synchronization between sales (sponsors, exhibitors, ticketing), curation, and marketing.
• Oversee post-event closure including reconciliation, reports, and learnings for future editions.

3. Revenue & Departmental Efficiency

• Work closely with the
  Head of Sales, Marketing, and Content
  to ensure that each event or campaign meets its revenue and performance targets.
• Monitor budgets, cost efficiencies, and vendor negotiations to optimize profitability.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services such as branded content and partnerships.

4. Team Management & Leadership

• Supervise cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and ownership.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior managers and support hiring for operational and project management roles.
• Conduct regular review meetings to ensure smooth progress across verticals.

5. Vendor, Partner & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, production houses, and collaborators.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts ensuring best value and quality.
• Coordinate with sponsors, partners, and exhibitors for seamless delivery and satisfaction.
• Liaise with external stakeholders (government bodies, associations, and industry partners) when required.

6. Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Prepare operational dashboards and post-event reports to analyze performance, impact, and ROI.
• Maintain oversight of budgets, timelines, and manpower utilization.
• Report key metrics to the Founder and leadership team with actionable insights for improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely and flawless delivery of events and campaigns.
• Achievement of budget and profitability targets.
• Reduction in operational inefficiencies and delays.
• High client and partner satisfaction scores.
• Improved team productivity and retention.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 8–12 years of experience in
  event management, operations, or experiential marketing
  , preferably with media or brand IP experience.
• Strong track record of
  managing multi-stakeholder projects
  , budgets, and large teams.
• Expertise in vendor management, event logistics, and on-ground execution.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with a knack for process design and optimization.
• Passion for sustainability, conscious living, and purpose-driven brands is a plus.
