  • Role:- Project Coordinator / Transformation Project Manager

  • Location:- Remote with Potential travel (Gurgaon/Bangalore)

  • Shift Timings – 1:30 PM– 10:30PM (may vary as per client requirements)

  • Department: Enterprise Delivery Team – Transformation & Transition

  • Reports to: Director, Enterprise Delivery

Overall, Purpose of the role: 

The Project Coordinator / Transformation Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering high-impact transformation and transition projects for UnitedLex and its clients. This role combines strong project management discipline with hands-on experience across Target Operating Model design, technology implementation, client onboarding, process improvement, and metrics-driven performance delivery.
You will manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables, while also facilitating process transformation, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Increasingly, our projects leverage AI solutions, AI agents, and intelligent automation to drive innovation, efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, maintain, and manage project documentation including scopes, schedules, RAID logs, trackers, financials, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project activities to ensure milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are met on time across Target Operating Model, technology implementation, client onboarding, process improvement, and AI adoption initiatives.
  • Lead process transformation work, including discovery/blueprint sessions, service delivery model design, process mapping, and creation of playbooks/SOPs.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Development teams to achieve project goals, including AI-driven workflows, AI agent solutions, and automation technologies.
  • Support change management activities, including training, communications, and stakeholder engagement for both traditional and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Manage client onboarding programs, ensuring smooth transitions, clear expectation-setting, and alignment of delivery to agreed operating models.
  • Monitor and track key metrics and operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and client value.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly status updates, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action tracking.
  • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, resolving risks and issues proactively.
  • Support and strengthen client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on transformation and technology adoption.

Requirements & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, Science, Arts, or related field.
  • 5 –10+ years' experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing complex transformation, Target Operating Model, or technology implementation projects in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Proven track record in process improvement initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience managing client onboarding programs and ensuring smooth service transitions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive, consultative approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Comfort working in a virtual and entrepreneurial environment, with willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with AI tools, AI agents, and intelligent automation platforms (e.g., generative AI, conversational AI, RPA with AI integrations).
  • Understanding of how AI can be applied to Target Operating Models, process optimization, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Digital Adoption Platforms and AI-driven change management strategies.
  • Experience in services transition, solution architecture, or consulting.
  • Strong mastery of metrics, analytics, and data reporting for performance tracking and decision making.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, ensuring technology and AI adoption delivers measurable value.
  • Experience in the legal industry and/or digital transformation projects preferred.

Summary & Pointers to Prepare for the interview 

Should have experience on Transformation & Transitions, Client onboarding, Project planning, Project Execution, Milestones, Deliverables, Governance Setup & Governance Management , Project Reporting, Risk & Issues Management, RAID log management , Risk mitigation strategy, System implementation & Integrations(CLMs, ERPs, ELMs) , AI transformation. 

Experience on creating or supporting creation of operating models 

Prepared and Managed a Risk & Issue Log, RAID log.

Familiarity with any lifecycle or CLM tools, ERP tools, Process of RFP. 

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.

Good to have: PMI , PRINCE, PMP certification.
