Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Lead QA QC Ingot Wafer professional for our Jamnagar location. This is a full-time role within our New Energy division. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring quality assurance and quality control processes are effectively implemented, guaranteeing the highest standards in production and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong expertise in quality assurance and quality control (Mandatory skill) to ensure all products meet specified requirements and regulations.
  • Proficient in machining, capable of understanding the intricacies of manufacturing processes and translating them into quality requirements.
  • Competent in inspection and testing to effectively evaluate products and processes for compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experienced in Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and control production processes, ensuring consistent quality of output.
  • Adept in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify potential failure points and implement corrective measures.
  • Background in the manufacturing industry, providing context and understanding of production environments and quality challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve quality-related issues efficiently, ensuring a high level of operational excellence.
  • Good communication and leadership abilities to lead a team effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for ingot and wafer manufacturing, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Implement and manage quality systems and procedures to maintain product excellence and compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products and processes to identify deviations and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Analyze production data using SPC methods to identify trends, variability, and areas of improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Lead FMEA studies to anticipate potential defects and failures, implementing preventive measures to minimize risks.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to facilitate resolution of quality issues, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to quality control teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and quality initiatives.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and documentation, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to senior management.
