Roles and Responsibilities :

1.Product Planning & Menu Development

  • Design and update a wide range of bakery products (e.g., breads, pastries, muffins, cookies, croissants, cakes).
  • Innovate seasonal or themed items (e.g., movie-themed cupcakes for a cinema).
  • Ensure product consistency, flavour profile, and visual appeal.

  • Baking & Preparation

  • Supervise and participate in baking processes including mixing, kneading, proofing, shaping, baking, and decorating.

  • Ensure proper temperature, timing, and method are followed for each item.
  • Implement standard recipes while allowing for innovation where applicable.

  • Quality Control

  • Conduct regular taste and presentation checks.

  • Monitor freshness of all baked goods.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and quality.

  • Inventory & Procurement

  • Manage inventory of baking ingredients (flour, butter, chocolate, yeast, etc.).

  • Forecast demand and place orders accordingly.
  • Minimise waste and track usage of raw materials.
