Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee and manage our last-mile milk and dairy product delivery operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth route planning, timely deliveries, efficient resource allocation, and quick resolution of delivery-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Last-Mile Delivery Management

  • Oversee daily last-mile delivery operations for milk and dairy products.
  • Ensure all delivery schedules are met with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain coordination between warehouse, dispatch, and delivery teams.

2. Route Mapping & Planning

  • Prepare and optimize daily delivery routes to reduce time and cost.
  • Use route planning tools or manual methods to ensure efficient delivery cycles.
  • Review and modify routes based on traffic, customer density, and operational needs.

3. Resource & Backup Arrangement

  • Manage allocation of delivery staff and vehicles.
  • Arrange backup riders/drivers and additional resources when required.
  • Ensure all vehicles and delivery equipment are in functional condition.

4. Issue & Query Resolution

  • Address customer and delivery-related queries promptly.
  • Resolve issues such as delayed delivery, failed delivery attempts, or product-related concerns.
  • Track & reduce delivery errors or escalations.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with inventory, warehouse, and customer service teams for smooth operations.
  • Maintain proper records of routes, delivery performance, and resources used.
  • Prepare daily/weekly operational reports.

6. Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure proper handling of milk and dairy products during delivery.
  • Maintain hygiene and quality standards at all delivery points.
  • Train delivery staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in logistics, preferably in last-mile or FMCG/dairy delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of route planning and fleet management.
  • Ability to handle real-time issues and make quick decisions.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, GPS tracking systems, route planning tools).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Shift & Work Conditions:

  • Should be comfortable working in early morning / shift operations (as dairy deliveries are time-bound).
  • On-ground coordination required as per operational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹35,000.00 per month
