Job Title: Production Assistant

Department: Production

Reports To: Production Manager / Senior Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Production Assistant supports the production team in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow, quality standards, and timely completion of printing and packaging projects. This role involves coordinating resources, monitoring production processes, and assisting in administrative tasks related to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating daily production schedules.
  • Ensure raw materials, components, and supplies are available for production.
  • Monitor production processes and report any issues or delays to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including work-in-progress and finished goods.
  • Support quality control checks and ensure products meet company standards.
  • Help manage inventory, stock, and packaging materials.
  • Coordinate with other departments (design, logistics, and procurement) to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
  • Handle minor troubleshooting of machines and report technical issues to maintenance teams.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Printing Technology, Packaging, or related field is preferred.
  • 0–2 years experience in production environment (experience in printing/packaging is a plus).
  • Knowledge of production processes and basic machinery operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
