Job Description:

We are hiring a Store Assistant to support the Store In-Charge in managing the daily operations of the store in our plywood manufacturing unit. The candidate will help with material handling, documentation, and inventory activities to ensure smooth and efficient store functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store In-Charge in all store-related operations.
  • Receive, check, and record incoming raw materials and consumables.
  • Help in issuing materials to production based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain proper stacking, labeling, and safe handling of plywood sheets and other materials.
  • Update stock registers and basic computer entries (Excel/ERP).
  • Support daily/weekly/monthly stock audits.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and movement of materials inside the factory.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards in the store area.
  • Prepare and assist in documentation such as GRN, issue slips, and stock reports.
  • Coordinate with production, purchase, and dispatch teams whenever required.
