Role & responsibilities :

  • Oversee onboarding, active engagement, and offboarding of collections vendors across PAN India.
  • Ensure smooth integration of vendors into processes in line with compliance and organizational goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor queries, escalations, and dispute resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure quality service and operational continuity.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and assess feasibility across geographies.
  • Maintain a diversified pool of collection partners to support scale and regional needs.
  • Monitor daily vendor performance using key metrics such as recovery rates, TAT, and efficiency.
  • Document and publish audit findings to the Risk and Collections teams.
  • Maintain a centralized tracker of active/inactive vendors with detailed location and engagement data.
  • Ensure timely updates in internal systems and external platforms.
  • Coordinate with the Legal team for agreement execution post-verification.
  • Act as the "checker" in the maker-checker process to prevent revenue leakage.
  • Ensure smooth transition from provisioning to actualisation.
  • Automate billing processes through tools/dashboards for improved accuracy.
  • Work closely with Legal and Commercial teams for timely agreement creation and execution.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 2+ years in collections (field or central ops), preferably in fintech, NBFC, or auto-finance sector.
  • Strong background in managing vendors across geographies and risk segments.
  • Proven ability to conduct vendor audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in performance tracking, reporting, and billing validation.
  • Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Ops).
  • Effective verbal and written communication for internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable using dashboards, tools, and Excel for reporting and automation.
