Accounts & Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts and Administrative Assistant to support the finance and administrative operations of our organization. This role combines day-to-day accounting responsibilities with general office administration duties to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain and update financial records in accounting software -Tally
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and expense reports.
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Track and manage petty cash and employee reimbursements.
- Coordinate with the external accountant/auditor as needed.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage daily office operations, including supplies, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries professionally.
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical).
- Support HR functions such as attendance tracking, onboarding documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Assist in coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and company events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or administrative support roles (preferred).
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with bookkeeping software - Tally
- Knowledge of basic financial principles and office management.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹140, ₹160,000.00 per year
