UI/UX Designer Mentor

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Type: Part-Time / Contract / Freelance

Experience Level: 3+ years in UI/UX Design

About the Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Design Mentor to guide and inspire learners who are passionate about building careers in design. The mentor will help students understand real-world design processes, provide project feedback, conduct live sessions, and share insights from industry experience.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Conduct live interactive sessions and workshops on UI/UX Design principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Guide learners through hands-on projects, ensuring practical understanding of user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on student assignments and design portfolios.
  • Help students learn tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch effectively.
  • Share industry insights and best practices for design thinking, usability, and product design.
  • Support students in preparing interview portfolios and case studies.
  • Collaborate with the academic/content team to enhance course structure and materials.

Required Skills & Experience;

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer.
  • Strong understanding of Design Thinking, User-Centered Design, and Information Architecture.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, and other prototyping tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others grow in the field of design.
  • Prior mentoring, training, or content creation experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications;

  • Experience working on web and mobile app design projects.
  • Understanding of modern design systems, accessibility, and usability principles.
  • Knowledge of UI trends, color theory, typography, and interaction design.

Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: ₹ ₹350.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
