Our events bring founders together to network, pitch, collaborate and grow—making us one of the fastest-growing startup ecosystems in the country.
Objectives of This Role
- Manage and execute all events smoothly and professionally.
- Coordinate with hosts, volunteers, speakers, vendors, venues, partners and charter members.
- Lead the event team and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Ensure ticket sales, event readiness and attendee experience.
- Execute the monthly conference end-to-end.
- Assist with hiring and team structuring.
Key Responsibilities
A. Weekly Events (India)
- Coordinate with hosts, volunteers, venue POCs, speakers and banking partners.
- Maintain constant communication and relationships with all stakeholders.
- Track ticket sales and ensure targets are met.
- Ensure scripts, PPTs, printables and attendee reminders are completed on time.
- Send timely updates and reminders to attendees.
B. International Events
- Coordinate with international hosts and send them scripts/event flow.
- Book café tables or seating for events abroad.
- Manage attendees and host WhatsApp groups.
- Send reminders for upcoming international events.
C. Team Management
- Manage To-dos, follow-ups and performance of team members.
- Review all event-related deliverables created by the team.
- Ensure volunteers receive proper instructions and briefings.
D. Community & Partner Coordination
- Maintain relationships with charter members and remind them of events happening in their cities.
- Send event calendars every 15 days to venue partners and banking partners.
- Track banking partnership receivables and follow up for timely payments.
E. Monthly Flagship Conference Responsibilities
- Agenda Drafting (9-hour event)
using past editions as reference. - Speaker Outreach
via PR companies or direct connections; confirm availability, collect bios/photos, and manage announcements. - Speaker Coordination
for timing, arrival and stage flow. - Vendor & Event Agency Coordination
including volunteer instructions and run-throughs. - Printables Vendor Management
for brochures, standees, bags, trophies etc. On-the-Day Conference Management:
Stage flow
- Speaker movement
- Session timings
- Coordination with AV and event teams
- Fixing on-the-spot issues
F. Recruitment & Team Structuring Responsibilities
- Identify hiring needs based on team structure.
- Shortlist candidates, schedule interviews and conduct the first round.
- Discuss shortlisted profiles with seniors and send offer letters to selected candidates.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum
2 years
of event management or operations experience (B2B preferred). - Excellent communication, coordination and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking ability.
- Experience with speaker/vendor coordination is a plus.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Experience in startup or networking events is highly valued.
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed Salary:
₹18,000 – ₹28,000 per month - Variable:
₹10,000 – ₹30,000 - Team Size:
15-20 - Work Days & Timings:
Monday to Saturday,
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Travel:
Once every 2 months to Tier 1 or Tier 2 cities with the team
