The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Operations Manager to join our growing operations team in Mumbai. You will oversee day-to-day functioning across existing centres, support new build-outs, and ensure Dextrus maintains its trademark service excellence.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, takes pride in process, and enjoys the challenge of balancing people, operations, and precision.

Key Responsibilities

Your tasks are: (not limited to and will constantly evolve based on your capabilities and manager feedback)

Operations:

• Overseeing the optimum functioning of existing centers
• Establishing the highest quality service standards for the entire operations team.
• Aiding in creating thorough SOPs
• Manage all operational teams (Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Tech, F&B) along with working with the client and distributing responsibilities when necessary to applicable team leads.
• Working on training and development of team members, internal and third-party to deliver quality and consistency.
• Manage center rosters. o You are an organized person and will oversee documentation and related protocols.
• Given the circumstances and even generally you are on top of health, safety, cleanliness, hygiene, and security protocols with 0% deviation in the premises.
• Implementing compliance as per regulatory norms for each centre.
• Good understanding of Electrical, HVAC & CCTV.
• Hard core technical knowledge of Civil, Plumbing & Electric

MIS:

• Aid in reducing costs of various operational heads.

Projects

• Execute client expansion, remodeling of office spaces within existing centres
• Execute the build-out of future centres
• Work closely with the design team to oversee timely and accurate execution of projects

Vendor & Cost Management

• Work on building contractor and vendor networks for future partnerships and to aid in the cost management of all build-outs
• Manage vendors effectively.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills.

What You'll Bring

• 5–6 years of experience in operations, facility management, or service quality roles.
• Proven experience in managing multi-site operations with vendor coordination.
• Graduate or Postgraduate degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Marathi & Hindi.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to balance multiple priorities efficiently.

Bonus Points For

• Experience in coworking, hospitality, aviation, or facility management industries.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (fire safety, labour, vendor, security).
• Exposure to project management and cost control.
• Hands-on leadership with a passion for continuous improvement.
