Job Title: Finance Controller

Location: Siliguri (India) & Dhaka (Bangladesh)

Work Mode: Onsite

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller from the FMCG, beverage, or food processing industry to manage finance operations across multiple plants. The role involves full P&L ownership, plant finance, controllership, and leadership of regional finance operations. Candidates must be based in Assam, West Bengal, Siliguri, or Dhaka and be open to travel across regional plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee P&L management for North-East and East regions.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for regional operations.
  • Manage sales accounting and plant accounting for multiple plant-based locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and MIS for leadership review.
  • Drive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance with internal controls.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business growth and cost optimization.
  • Lead and mentor the regional finance team to deliver high performance.
  • Ensure statutory compliance, audits, and adherence to company policies.
  • Run plant operations independently while supporting business development initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have Criteria)

  • Male candidate preferred.
  • Must be from FMCG, beverage, or food processing industry only.
  • Must hold one of the following:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Intermediate/Semi-Qualified
  • Cost Accountant (ICWA) Intermediate/Semi-Qualified
  • MBA in Finance
  • Currently working at a higher-level or leadership position.
  • Must currently be based in Assam, West Bengal, Siliguri, or Dhaka (Bangladesh).
  • 10+ years of experience in core finance, accounts, and controllership.
  • Proficiency in SAP (preferably SAP HANA) and MIS/financial reporting tools.
  • Experience in P&L ownership, plant finance, sales accounting, and regional controllership (plant accounting is mandatory).
  • Open to travel across regional plants and operational locations as required.
  • Ability to run entire plant operations independently with a business development mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹3,200, ₹3,500,000.00 per year
