**Job Overview**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as ad-hoc business performance reports for the corporate team
- Perform tasks associated with monthly closes, account reconciliations and GL analysis
- Monitor compliance with corporate and regional accounting policies and internal controls, in a public company reporting environment
- Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation
- Cost-accounting analysis
- Provide support for external and internal audits
- Remain current with new accounting technical standards impacting financial reporting and research and document technical accounting conclusions, when necessary
- Train and develop the accounting team
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Accounting Jobs Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting or finance 3 years of management experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience working in the public and private sectors
- An active member of the ICAI
- Ability to make decisions as necessary without oversight, when needed
- A demonstrated ability and proven track record in driving process, efficiency, and growth improvements/results.
- Strong leadership, team members, and staff/team development and motivation skills.
- An effective manager with strong execution skills that is entrepreneurial, astute, and has a passion for getting into the details where appropriate to make effective decisions and drive results.
- Solid grasp of project management skills.
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing with various audiences
- Ability to create and maintain a positive and collaborative team environment
- Ability to work on several tasks/projects simultaneously, prioritize, and follow through to successful outcomes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to successfully navigate in an ambiguous environment
