About the Team The Workplace Coordinator will be a part of the Nutanix Real Estate and Workplace team, based in Bangalore, India. This cohesive team is dedicated to delivering exceptional work environments that foster productivity and a great employee experience. With a culture that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a strong commitment to customer service, the team ensures that Nutanix's corporate office spaces support the operational needs of its employees while promoting a positive atmosphere where everyone can excel. You will report to the Workplace Manager, who is known for their approachable and supportive leadership style, focusing on empowering team members while fostering open communication. This role involves a hybrid work setup, where you will be expected to work in the office as needed for key activities and collaboration, balancing both remote and in-office days to enhance team dynamics. There are no required travel commitments associated with this role, allowing you to focus on managing workplace experiences and services for Nutanix's Bangalore office without the need for frequent trips to other locations. Your Role
  • Establishes and maintains open, positive relationships within team and internal customers (Nutanix employees). 
  • The right candidate will be enthusiastic about technical services & transport operations, wanting to help develop a nurturing, positive workplace environment and employees experience for this fast-growing region. 
  • Oversee technical services, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems for office space—ensuring preventive and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, energy efficiency, and vendor performance across HVAC, electrical distribution, fire safety, and water systems.
  • Drive vendor management, including onboarding, performance reviews, SLA/KPI tracking, and cost optimization across facilities, transport, housekeeping, security, and technical services.
  • Support business continuity planning (BCP) and emergency preparedness, including fire drills, evacuation protocols, and risk mitigation strategies in coordination with local authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the operations of the transport team covering employee shuttle services and business travel and related compliances, MIS, ensure the employee feedback & the service tickets are addressed with due priority.
  • Monitor and improve employee experience touchpoints related to technical services & transport services, proactively identifying gaps and implementing solutions that enhance workplace engagement, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to budget planning and cost control, including forecasting, procurement, invoice processing, and reporting—ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to MIS updates for the relevant areas as per the reporting cadence.
  • Observe the workplace environment and culture to identify needs across operational touch points.
  • Must be comfortable operating on tactical levels, simultaneously acting as an internal ambassador, solutions provider, and implementer of programs. 
  • The optimal candidate is an approachable & experienced professional with good communication, strong data analytical skills to implement and manage salable programs for the listed key areas of responsibility. 

What You Will Bring

  • Manage key areas in operations, provides coordination and administrative support for delivery of workplace services (Technical services & transport management)
  • Ensures workplace operations and employee programs are managed successfully with outstanding customer service. 
  • Responds to internal customer requests and complaints regarding workplace services. Partner with workplace staff, ensuring facilities are operated in a cost-effective manner while providing a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment. 
  • Develops, cultivates and owns key relationships with third-party service providers and vendors. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as HR, IT, Security. Aware of Safety/Emergency Preparedness,
  • Provides inputs with annual budget development, reports and analysis and operating procurement tools. 
  • Implement KPI & SLA's for sites services. Partner on audits, conduct risk assessments, proactively mitigate risks.
  • Assists team with general administrative support including invoice processing, expense reporting, etc. 
  •  Provides administrative support as directed, equipment care, and supply management.
Work Arrangement On Prem: This role involves a hybrid work setup, where you will be expected to work in the office as needed for key activities and collaboration, balancing both remote and in-office days to enhance team dynamics.
