An Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager with daily operations, staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and overall operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include assisting with staffing and scheduling, managing food and supply orders, resolving customer complaints, training new hires, and performing administrative duties like record-keeping and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management:Supervise, train, and mentor staff, ensuring they adhere to service standards and company policies.
  • Customer Service:Handle customer inquiries and complaints, working to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Inventory & Procurement:Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage relationships with vendors to maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Operations:Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including kitchen and front-of-house activities.
  • Compliance:Ensure the restaurant adheres to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Administrative Tasks:Assist with scheduling, payroll, record-keeping, and financial tasks such as balancing cash registers and analyzing sales trends.
  • Quality Control:Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and presentation.

Essential Skills

  • Leadership & Supervision:Ability to guide and manage a team effectively.
  • Communication:Strong skills for clear communication with staff and customers.
  • Problem-Solving:Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Skills:Familiarity with basic accounting and record-keeping.
  • Adaptability:Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is often a minimum requirement.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and inventory management systems may be beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹60,000.00 per month
