We are a successful and rapidly growing SEO-focused digital marketing agency.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Local SEO Specialist to manage and optimize local business listings across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience auditing, optimizing, and maintaining listings in Google Business Profile (GBP), Bing, and Apple, as well as managing citation campaigns and creating consistent, engaging posts for Google Business Profiles.

This role requires the ability to schedule an average of 40 to 50 Google Business Profile posts per day using posting software, create accompanying images using Canva templates, and ensure all local listings are fully optimized for visibility. The candidate will also use ChatGPT for content creation, Canva for image design, and help improve and automate our existing posting process, targeting specific keywords and locations to maximize local visibility.

Additionally, the ability to meet with clients for reporting is a plus. Scheduling calls to discuss progress, explain results, and provide recommendations for improving local SEO performance is an important aspect of this role.

This is a full-time, remote position, and you can work from anywhere. However, you must be available to work during the US - PST time zone from 8 AM to 5 PM PST. This schedule is non-negotiable. Additionally, you must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities

Google Business Profile (GBP) Optimization and Posting

• Regularly audit and optimize GBP listings to ensure accuracy and maximize local SEO performance
• Schedule and publish 20 to 25 posts per day across multiple locations using the provided posting software
• Create post images using pre-made Canva templates for consistency and branding
• Implement best practices for GBP content, including posts, photos, and updates to improve local ranking
• Assist in location verification using Google support and other resources

Bing Listings Management

• Complete audits, verification, and full optimization of business listings on Bing to enhance local search visibility

Apple Listings Management (Experience a Plus)

• Audit, verify, and optimize Apple business listings to ensure correct and updated information

Citation Campaign Management (Mandatory)

• Must have proven experience using Brightlocal to manage aggregators
• Must be able to execute bulk citation submissions via the Marketers Center to expand visibility across directories

Experience in Client Meetings and Reporting is a Plus

• Set up regular meetings with clients to update them on their local SEO performance and the results of ongoing work.
• Explain in simple terms all the actions we've taken in the SEO strategy, so clients understand what's been done and how it affects their performance, rankings, traffic, and visibility.
• Share clear insights into the work we've done, showing how our efforts have helped improve or fix any SEO issues.
• Keep open communication, making sure clients are always informed about what we're doing and building strong relationships through regular updates and discussions.

Tools and Software You Will Use

• Local Falcon - Rank tracking, Google listing change alerts
• Brightlocal – Aggregator management and citation tracking (required)
• Marketers Center – Bulk citation submissions (required)
• Social Media Scheduling Software – GBP scheduling for posts and photos
• Canva – Create branded images using pre-made templates
• ClickUp (or similar) – Project and task management
• ChatGPT – Using AI for content creation, task automation, and boosting efficiency in Local SEO processes

Required Skills

Proven experience in Local SEO, including Google Business Profile, Bing, and Apple listing optimization

• Ability to schedule an average of 20 to 25 posts per day using posting software
• Strong desire to learn and continuously improve internal systems and processes.
• Proficiency with Canva for image creation using pre-made templates
• Mandatory experience with Brightlocal and the Marketers Center for citation management
• Familiarity with local search ranking factors and best practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for client collaboration and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing multiple local listings across industries
• Knowledge of Apple business listing optimization
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics and keyword research tools
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: ₹124, ₹175,000.00 per month
