Accountant – Job Description

Company Introduction:

Stegmatic Engineering is a Hyderabad-based industrial multi-product house dealing with world-renowned companies in the mining, power, cement, and core sector industries. We are known for delivering multi-dimensional products and trusted solutions for the core sector.

Role Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing all company financial operations — including bookkeeping, compliance, returns, and tax documentation — and supporting auditing activities for a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial records and statements using Tally software.
  • Prepare, review, and file GST Returns, TDS Returns, Advance Tax Payments, and IT Returns in collaboration with auditors.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.
  • Work with senior management and third-party auditors to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Prepare financial reports in Word and Excel, utilizing advanced spreadsheet functions.
  • Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits.
  • Participate in the online submission of tenders, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial documents.
  • Track receivables, payables, and assist in vendor management for project accounts.

Skills Required

  • Expert proficiency in Tally, Word, and Excel.
  • Prior experience managing GST/TDS/Income Tax returns and payments.
  • Ability to work closely with auditors and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for tendering and stakeholder interaction.
  • Understanding of the core sector industry (mining, power, cement) is an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200, ₹250,000.00 per year
