Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for acquisition of new Current Account (CA) customers from the open market, SME segment, and business clients.
  • Conduct market visits, cold calls, and business area mapping to identify and convert potential leads.
  • Achieve defined monthly and quarterly acquisition, balance, and revenue targets.
  • Generate and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients through references and networking.
  • Conduct customer meetings, explain banking products, and handle onboarding, documentation, and KYC compliance.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers to ensure retention and portfolio growth.
  • Cross-sell other banking products such as Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Insurance, Loans, and Payment Solutions.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout the account opening process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth processing of customer requests and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, regulatory norms, and audit guidelines.
  • Actively participate in promotional campaigns, local market activities, and branch-level events to drive business growth.
  • Regularly update the sales tracking system (CRM) and submit daily/weekly reports to the reporting manager.
