Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAM NC Programmer, located in Bengaluru. The CAM NC Programmer will develop and optimize computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programs to support the manufacturing of precision components. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, creating NC programs, selecting appropriate tools and machining strategies, and collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure process efficiency. Additional tasks include troubleshooting production issues, improving machining processes, and maintaining program documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAM programming and NC programming software
  • Strong knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Experience with precision machining, tool selection, and machining strategies
  • Familiarity with aerospace or defense industry standards and processes
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production and program issues
  • Effective communication and the ability to collaborate across technicians, engineers, and manufacturing teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines
  • Experience with high-precision, multi-axis machining processes is a plus
