Role & responsibilities

  1. A strategic planner with adeptness in implementing cost reduction measures to achieve saving in terms of material procurement, logistics cost, without hampering the supply chain operations.
  2. Assisting the site execution team by arranging the required materials as per planned schedule or urgent requirements.
  3. Responsible for purchase of all type materials (Civil Materials, Hardware. Responsible for purchase of all type materials (Civil Materials, Hardware.
  4. Receive purchase requisition, conduct RFQ process and generating purchase orders
  5. Responsible for comparison both technical & commercial & documenting it for the various sites.
  6. Interaction with internal engineering team for technical issues raised by Suppliers.
  7. Negotiate with the supplier and transporters for periodical freight contracts with the rate analysis as the home work.
  8. Commercial Negotiation with suppliers for best prices and for Commercial terms.
  9. Preparation of LOI/PO as required for the initial one and to manage amendments as required at a later date.
  10. Recognizing and settling various issues pertaining to store, inventory, delivery, billing, service, pricing and operations in coordination with execution team
  11. Processing of Supplier invoices for payments as required and agreed in the Purchase Order.
  12. Development/ Searching of New Vendors for ordering.
  13. Control & Purchase all type Construction Material like Steel, Cement, Building Material, shuttering Material, Spare Parts, Bitumen, HSD & Miscellaneous item with our purchase team use in building construction.
  14. Monitor all Shuttering Hiring material & Monitor Transport
  15. Procurement of Material as required in accordance with the rule in force.
  16. Controlling of project requirement & all type Purchase activity.
  17. Monitor Building Material required at Site.
  18. Monitor pre planning Cement Required at Site.
  19. Monitor all Structural Steel & Reinforcement Steel required at site.
  20. Develop Source of Bought out items.
  21. Time to time Vendor Development as per required Companies.
  22. Time to time new Source Development.
  23. Best negotiation with supplier as possible.
  24. Any time running for Company problem as per required...
  25. Purchase local & out of station as per require.
  26. Co ordinate with Project Person with High Value item.
  27. Develop & maintain Buyer seller relationship. To promote source of development
  28. Enquiry generation (requisitions/ purchase indents).
  29. Ensure stock of Shuttering material & Reinforcement steel above the ground level to avoid deterioration.
  30. Manage all purchase activity & Control supply with our Purchase Deptt.
  31. Checking Indent before purchase material at site
  32. Analyzing Quotation etc.& preparation of Comparative statement.
  33. Conclusion with Commercial Head, Project Head & BU Head.
  34. Negotiating for Purchase Order.
  35. Checking Term & Condition of PO with Commercial Head.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should be from the Water Sector only, with strong expertise in Procurement and Team Management.
