SALES EXECUTIVE FOR HANDICRAFT BUSINESS
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new international markets and customers for handicraft products.
- Generate leads through online platforms, trade shows, B2B portals (e.g., Alibaba, IndiaMART, Global Sources), and existing networks.
- Pitch products to potential buyers and respond to inquiries from overseas clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing international clients to ensure repeat business.
- Understand customer requirements, suggest appropriate products, and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Ensure timely communication and after-sales support.
Product & Market Knowledge
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the product range, including materials, craftsmanship techniques, pricing, and customisation options.
- Stay updated on global design and craft trends to anticipate buyer preferences.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure samples and orders meet buyer expectations.
Documentation & Coordination
- Assist in the preparation of export documents such as Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading.
- Coordinate with logistics, customs, and shipping companies for timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and buyer country regulations.
Sales Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Track inquiries, quotations, order conversions, and customer feedback.
- Achieve monthly and annual export sales targets.
