Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Modeler, located in Bengaluru. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for various architectural and construction projects. Key activities include producing 3D models, coordinating with project teams, interpreting architectural and construction drawings, and integrating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems into the designs. The Modeler will also ensure compliance with project specifications and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and tools
• Strong understanding of Architecture and construction principles
• Experience in modeling, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
• Ability to interpret and create detailed Construction Drawings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar is highly desirable
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and practices is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Modelling & Technical Documentation

• Develop, update, and manage detailed Revit BIM models for M&E/ACMV services, including ducting, chilled water piping, fire protection systems, plumbing, and electrical layouts.

• Prepare coordinated shop drawings, isometric drawings, builders' works drawings, penetration layouts, and as-built drawings.

• Generate accurate schedules, sections, and quantity take-offs as required.

2. ACMV Systems (High Priority Scope)

• Model ACMV systems such as: ducting networks (supply, return, exhaust, fresh air), chilled water (CHW) piping, valves, fittings & insulation, and equipment connections (AHU, FCU, PAU, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with SMACNA, ASHRAE, and Singapore project specifications.

• Prepare fully coordinated ACMV layouts and ensure constructability during site execution.

3. Coordination & Clash Detection

• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and generate coordination reports.

• Work with engineers, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve coordination issues.

• Update models based on design revisions, RFIs, redline markups, and site feedback.

4. Project Support & Communication

• Participate in online coordination meetings with the Singapore team.

• Provide timely drawing updates to support site installation progress.

• Maintain proper documentation, revision logs, and version control for all BIM submissions.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines.

• 2–5 years of BIM Modelling experience in M&E or ACMV projects.

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

• Strong understanding of M&E service layouts, detailing, and construction workflows.

• Experience in ACMV system modelling will be considered a strong advantage.

• Fire Protection modelling knowledge is an added benefit.

• Good English communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams.

• High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet project deadlines.
