
Bar Manager

The Bar Manager oversees the overall operations of the bar within the restaurant. This includes managing bar staff, maintaining inventory and stock control, ensuring excellent customer service, enforcing hygiene and safety standards, and maximizing profitability through efficient operations and innovative beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Service:
- Supervise day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Manage opening and closing procedures for the bar.
2. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and bar assistants.
- Conduct regular staff briefings, tastings, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a positive work environment and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
3. Inventory & Cost Control:
- Manage stock levels, inventory rotation, and ordering of beverages and bar supplies.
- Monitor daily sales, wastage, and variances; implement measures to control costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers for best quality and pricing.
4. Customer Service:
- Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly.
- Develop creative and seasonal beverage menus, including cocktails, mocktails, and signature drinks.
- Educate guests and staff on beverage pairings and new drink trends.
5. Financial Performance:
- Assist management in setting beverage pricing and achieving bar revenue targets.
- Prepare daily and monthly bar performance reports.
- Support promotional and marketing initiatives for bar-related events and offers.
6. Compliance:
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with local laws and restaurant policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and licenses for the bar area.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of mixology, wines, spirits, and bar operations.
- Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bar management or a senior bartender role.
- Certification in Bartending or Mixology is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial reporting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40, ₹55,000.00 per month
