key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Assist the Pastry Chef in daily production planning and execution.
- Decorate and finish cakes, pastries, and desserts attractively.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the pastry kitchen.
- Follow standard recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency.
- Monitor inventory and report shortages to the senior chef.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI).
- Support other team members and help train junior staff when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pastry or bakery production.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in dessert plating.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Education: Diploma or Certification in Bakery & Confectionery preferred.
