Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for tile adhesive products.
  • Generate new business through retail outlets, hardware stores, and building material dealers.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, and sub-dealers in the assigned territory.
  • Develop project leads with builders, developers, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular field visits to understand customer needs and market potential.

2. Channel & Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners to ensure repeat business.
  • Resolve dealer/retailer issues related to supply, credit, or product quality.
  • Ensure proper visibility and availability of products across the assigned area.
  • Conduct promotional activities such as retailer meets, mason meets, and site demos.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor products, pricing, schemes, and market activities.
  • Provide weekly sales reports, secondary sales tracking, and market feedback.
  • Update CRM or reporting tools as per company policy.

4. Technical & Product Knowledge

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of different types of tile adhesives (Type 1, 2, 3, etc.).
  • Educate customers and applicators on product usage, coverage, and surface preparation.
  • Coordinate with the technical team for on-site trials and after-sales support.
