Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Manager / Head – Legal (Corporate)

Location: HSR SECTOR 2 [ Hustle Hub ] Department: Legal & Compliance Reports To: General Counsel / Head of Legal / CFO / CEO Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Professional to oversee and manage the corporate legal affairs of the company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, managing risk, negotiating contracts, and supporting strategic initiatives across business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate & Commercial Law

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including joint ventures, partnerships, vendor/supplier contracts, NDAs, MoUs, licensing agreements, etc.
  • Advise management on corporate governance matters, company secretarial functions, and board compliance.
  • Manage corporate structuring, mergers & acquisitions, investments, and due diligence activities.Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations (e.g., Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, labor laws, etc.).
  • Liaise with external regulatory bodies and ensure timely filings and disclosures.
  • Support internal audits and implement effective compliance controls.

Dispute Resolution & Litigation

  • Handle pre-litigation strategy, arbitration, and coordinate with external counsel on ongoing legal proceedings.
  • Provide legal risk assessments and suggest resolution strategies for commercial disputes.

Legal Risk Management

  • Identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and implement legal policies, procedures, and standards for the company.

Stakeholder Management

  • Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership and business teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Operations, and Compliance teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education: LL.B / LL.M from a reputed law school or university.
  • Experience: 3–15 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal role (preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience).
  • Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, contract, and regulatory law.
  • Experience in handling complex transactions, litigation, and compliance programs.
