Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw ingredients, in-process items, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor food safety procedures, hygiene practices, and sanitation across the facility/kitchen
- Conduct routine quality checks, such as temperature logs, product sampling, and equipment inspections
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, local health codes, etc.)
- Identify and report any deviations or defects in products or processes
- Work closely with kitchen/production staff to correct quality issues and improve procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation, inspection reports, and quality records
- Assist in staff training on food safety, handling procedures, and sanitation
- Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of all food items (FIFO)
Requirements
- Experience as a Food Quality Controller, Food Safety Officer, or related role
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
Preferred qualification
- Degree in food technology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18, ₹21,000.00 per month
