A Chef de Partie (CDP) is a crucial member of the kitchen team, responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen while ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency. The role requires strong culinary skills, team supervision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols. The CDP plays a key part in elevating the dining experience and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the tandoor kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare, cook, and present tandoor items as per quality and recipe standards.
  • Maintain high levels of food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
  • Supervise and train commis and support staff in the tandoor section.
  • Ensure strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety compliance.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and support cost control.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during operations.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
  • Adhere to and implement all company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by upholding professionalism and brand integrity.
