1. Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Invoice Validation: Ensure accuracy in invoice processing and PO matching.
  • Duplicate Payment Checks: Identify and prevent duplicate or erroneous payments.
  • Vendor Master Audit: Review vendor data integrity and segregation of duties.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Validate adherence to payment terms, approval workflows, and SOX controls.
  • Exception Reporting: Analyze blocked invoices, unmatched POs, and aged items.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Credit Control Review: Audit customer credit limits and approvals.
  • Receivables Aging Analysis: Monitor overdue balances and bad debt provisioning.
  • Cash Application Accuracy: Validate correct allocation of receipts to invoices.
  • Revenue Recognition Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Customer Master Data Review: Check for duplicate or inactive customer records.

3. Record to Report (RTR)

  • Journal Entry Review: Audit manual entries for accuracy and authorization.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations.
  • Month-End Close Monitoring: Validate completeness and timeliness of closing activities.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Audit eliminations and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
  • Fixed Assets & Depreciation: Review asset capitalization and depreciation schedules.

4. Taxation

  • GST/TDS Compliance: Audit filings, returns, and reconciliations.
  • Tax Provisioning: Validate accuracy of tax calculations and provisions.
  • Documentation Review: Ensure proper records for audits and assessments.
  • Regulatory Updates: Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure timely implementation. Transfer Pricing Audit: Review intercompany pricing and documentation.

Competencies :

  • 5-8 years of experience in Audit and finance operations.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
