Job Description
We are seeking a
highly skilled and experienced QA Lead
to spearhead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in automation frameworks—especially
Playwright
—alongside strong hands-on experience in
JavaScript or TypeScript
. Prior experience in
ERP systems
is an added advantage. As a QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building robust testing strategies, leading QA teams, and ensuring the highest quality of software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA planning, automation, and execution across projects.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks using Playwright.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Monitor test execution, identify bugs, and drive them to resolution with the dev team.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes.
  • Contribute to regression, performance, and integration testing strategies.
  • Experience in testing ERP systems will be a significant plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 9–12 years of total experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
  • Proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman.
  • Deep understanding of automation frameworks, test design, and CI/CD integration.
  • Strong experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in ERP testing is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • ISTQB certification or similar.
