Description

We are looking for a skilled DFT Engineer to join CHIPLOGIC TECH in Bengaluru. As a DFT Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the design for testability of our semiconductor products. Your work will be vital in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of our integrated circuits. You will be involved in cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology in the semiconductor industry.

As a DFT Engineer at CHIPLOGIC TECH, you will be responsible for implementing design for testability techniques, developing test patterns, and conducting DFT simulations. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our testing processes and the overall performance of our semiconductor products. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for semiconductor design and a strong background in DFT methodologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement DFT methodologies to ensure testability of semiconductor designs.
  • Develop and optimize test patterns for scan, ATPG, and BIST.
  • Conduct DFT simulations and analyze results to improve test coverage.
  • Collaborate with design and verification teams to integrate DFT features.
  • Generate documentation related to DFT implementation and testing procedures.
  • Support manufacturing test engineers in bringing up test patterns on ATE.
  • Identify and resolve DFT-related issues throughout the design process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in DFT techniques.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DFT for semiconductor designs.
  • Proficiency in DFT tools such as TetraMAX, DFT Compiler, and TestKompress.
  • Strong understanding of scan insertion, ATPG, and BIST techniques.
  • Experience with RTL design, simulation, and verification.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Python, or TCL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
