Role Overview
As the Senior Manager – Industry Connect within the System Adoption department, you will serve as a strategic bridge between academia, industry, and government. Your mission is to ensure Medha's students and alumni gain access to high-quality employment opportunities by cultivating impactful partnerships and aligning program offerings with market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Industry Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Identify and onboard industry partners, corporates, and sector bodies
- Build strategic alliances to enhance placement opportunities and long-term stakeholder value
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
- Maintain trust-based relationships with employers, industry associations, and government skill departments
- Organize corporate roundtables and industry meets; manage state-wise industry databases
- Demand Generation & Opportunity Mapping
- Analyze employment trends and skill requirements across sectors
- Drive initiatives connecting alumni with jobs, internships, and projects
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with internal teams to integrate industry feedback into program design
- Facilitate employer engagement events and partner visits
- Reporting, Tracking & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor placement outcomes and maintain partner databases
- Prepare reports and leverage data insights to refine engagement strategies
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of experience in industry partnerships, corporate relations, or placement roles (preferably in education/skilling)
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders across industry and government
- Strong understanding of labor market trends and recruitment practices
- Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills
- Proactive, data-driven, and outcome-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
