Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Head Engineer role located in Canada & Australia. As the Head Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing design and development processes, ensuring timely completion of projects, troubleshooting technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and guiding junior engineers on the team.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in software development, programming, and system architecture
  • Proven experience in team leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and quality assurance testing
  • Experience with integrating technologies and optimizing system performance
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams
  • Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in the investment or financial technology sector is a plus
