Role & responsibilities:

  • Consolidating Annual operating plan, estimates, Monthly profitability, variance analysis and presentation to head of the division by coordinating with plants and other functions
  • Business case evaluation for new projects/ new product discussion with various departments providing the cost data and analyzing it with existing cost structure
  • Managing Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (Working Capital Management)
  • Internal audit & Statutory audit coordination Coordinating with internal auditors and plant, ensuring proper audit reply and compliance. Pre audit on plants before actual internal audit to ensure compliance
  • Preparation for board and audit committee meetings
  • Ensuring compliances regarding TDS, GST, PF, ESI etc.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • 15+ years of experience
  • Commercially savvy and hands on experience in general accounting and taxation
  • Expertise in cost management and financial modelling
  • Strong ability to develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • In-depth understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, overhead absorption, and cost allocation. Maintain strong connections with several stakeholders in multiple locations
  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and other statutory compliances
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge in Inventory accounting in SAP HANA (Actual cost run and analysis)
  • Knowledge of the auto components industry's financial drivers, pricing structures, and regulatory environment.
