Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled L2 Network Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring the optimal performance and security of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced technical support to resolve network issues.

Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network systems.

Troubleshoot complex network problems and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network security and performance.

Document network processes, procedures, and solutions.

Assist in network infrastructure projects and upgrades.

Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.

Provide guidance and support to L1 support engineers.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in network support or a similar role.

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls.

Experience with network security practices and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Technologies and vendor know how

L2 and L3 switches configurations, - cisco, HPE

Wifi access points and controller configurations- HPE-Aruba, Cisco , Rackus

firewall -configurations and administration- fortinet,sophos or checkpoint,paloalto networks

knowledge on loadbalancers , web application firewall ,IDS IPS will be preferred
