Senior Service Advisor – Automobile Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Service Advisor with strong experience in the automobile sector. The ideal candidate will excel at delivering exceptional service experiences, managing customer relationships, and ensuring smooth workshop operations from vehicle check-in to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm, professional welcome to customers and clearly understand their service needs and concerns.

Prepare accurate job cards, document customer requests, and communicate service estimates transparently.

Coordinate with the workshop team to ensure timely diagnosis, repairs, and quality checks.

Proactively update customers on job progress, cost approvals, additional work requirements, and delivery timelines.

Conduct thorough vehicle walkthroughs and post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.

Promote value-added services, maintenance packages, and recommended repairs to enhance vehicle reliability and customer value.

Handle customer complaints with maturity and professionalism, ensuring quick and effective resolution.

Maintain complete knowledge of service processes, warranty policies, and technical updates.

Achieve service targets, CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores, and contribute to workshop performance.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, brand guidelines, and company SOPs.

Skills & Qualifications

3–8+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in the automobile industry (preferably passenger vehicles).

Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.

Excellent understanding of vehicle systems, service schedules, and workshop operations.

Ability to explain technical information in a clear and simple manner.

Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Proficiency in DMS software, job card creation, and service documentation.

A customer-centric mindset with the ability to upsell responsibly.

Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field preferred.
