Job Description:The Subject Matter Expert SME Fundamentals Data processing will serve as a domain authority in financial data analysis and processingThis role involves guiding and mentoring analysts ensuring data quality and driving process improvements for the Fundamentals product which delivers standardized and adjusted financials key ratios and industry specific metrics for global listed companiesKey Responsibilities:Act as the go to expert for financial data extraction standardization and analysis from company financial statements Income Statement Balance Sheet Cash FlowProvide domain level support and training to analysts on financial concepts accounting standards GAAP IFRS and data collection methodologiesReview and validate the accuracy and consistency of financial data processed by the teamCollaborate with quality assurance and product teams to enhance data quality and process efficiencyLead initiatives to update and maintain collection policies and documentation in line with evolving financial reporting standardsSupport escalations and complex data interpretation cases from analysts and stakeholdersMonitor key performance indicators KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement strategiesEnsure timely and high quality delivery of financial data to clientBachelor s degree in finance Commerce Accounting or Business Administration2 4 years of experience in financial data analysis preferably in a financial services or data operations environmentStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles GAAP IFRSExperience working with global financial markets and listed company dataTechnical Requirements:Essential SkillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsStrong attention to detail and data accuracyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to mentor and coach junior team membersProficiency in EnglishKnowledge and experience in using MS OfficeFlexible to work in a 24 5 environmentDesirableExperience with financial data platforms or tools egBloomberg Reuters FactSetExposure to automation tools or process improvement methodologies Lean Six SigmaAdditional Responsibilities:Location BangaloreExperience 2 4 yearsShift Flexible 24 5Qualification BCom BBA MBA McomPreferred Skills:Capital Market->Capital Market Operations
